Levi Stair was born in Springfield, Oregon in the spring of 1981. Moving to a small town in S.E. Wisconsin in the mid 80s with no friends and not much to do; paint, music, and photography became a major part of everyday life. Eventually, playing in multiple garage-bands from the mid 90s till 2002, drowning in exasperation, Levi soon realized that music was something more of a hobby, but not a life consuming commitment. At the age 21, Levi enrolled at The University of Milwaukee Wisconsin to pursue a degree from the Peck School of the Arts. Quickly attaching himself to the film crowd around campus, he soon discovered a slightly different take on film making, and started creating short minimalist montage films that he took on from all angles; writing, lighting, shooting, directing, acting, processing, printing, editing, sound, and post-production. Graduating in 2006 with a Bachelors in Film Production, Levi has spent the last three and a half years juggling between interior/exterior design, a DVD of 3 short films from Undergrad, a website, a music video, and an album. This Fall Levi will be releasing his newest film, a four minute music montage collaboration with good friend Scott Johnson and Italian songwriter/musician Andrea Liuzza called A Theme from Eluard.
